agreement level pricing on the invoice
When using pricing levels (eg. standard rate, club rate) the gross amount does not show on the invoice line. There is not currently a way to account for the discounts given when using this method. It would be great if this was changed so that we could see the gross amount and the discounted amount on the income statement. This maybe a SW21 issue but i wanted to post it somewhere.

Able to print parts used on the job and safe guard on deleting parts.
Would be nice to print parts used on the job. Also a safeguard that if the tech goes back and deletes or modifies a task, it reminds him he is deleting all parts assoicated with that task.

Would like the option to carry over the invoice to work done notes so it will show in work history
Would like to see the invoice carry over to work done notes in addition to any other work done notes entered by the tech. That way this information is shown in the work history.

Be able to include task notes on the printed invoice for the customer to better understand what is on the invoice
Would like to see a longer discription for our invoice tasks. We can do this in the notes section in SW and it will show the notes. Need this available on SWRemote.

Keep the techs from checking Agreement opportunity
If we could keep our techs from checking on or off the agreement opportunity would be great. If the tech does not sale a agreement to a client they have the ability to check that there was no opportunity. This really messes up my job summery report. We pay our techs bonuses to sale clubs. We go off of %

We would need to understand everyone’s business rule for this field. As you may know, across all SW21 users not all companies use this in the same way, so what works for one may not for others. That said, please give me detail on the ideal experience. For example, should the techs NEVER be able to edit that data point at all? Should it be triggered based on other activity like an invoice line-item. Thanks!

Not lose work suggested on continued calls.
Tech fills out his work order, suggests other repairs or items that need attention. Call is continued, we lose all information the original tech suggested. This is valuable information that the office and the next tech may need,

It would very helpful if remote technicians could enter a follow up date for opportunity generated/work suggested.
If technician could enter a follow up date when he is selecting opportunity generated, it would be very helpful so that M&R opportunity is generated with that automatically. This way we don't have to have our call center manually entering the follow up date and the opportunity will appear on our follow up reports.

SWRemote would stop messing my truck inventory up!
Currently when a tech orders a special order part for a job, the part is ordered and attached directly to the job. The tech then goes to the job and completes the work.
When the invoice is closed and all transaction are posted, SWRemote duplicates that entry and adds a requisition from the techs truck. Which in turn then creates a new truck stock item, with a negative quantity that comes up for reorder.

Blast Messages to MT
It would be great if we could send a blast communication to our techs using the remote devices that would show up in Mobile Technician. It would be even better if we could pick and choose to which techs/devices we send the message.

Super idea. I don’t know whether or not SW21 is the right vehicle to do that, but perhaps and we’ll speak with them about how this could work.

I would love to be able to control from the "admin" page if or when to do a pricebook "purge/rebuild"
Many times i do major pricebook overhauls on the weekend or late in the evening. When i realize that this will make things slow in the morning than i could just have it do a "reset pricebook" and it would replace it and do it rapidly. when we do ours it has like 33,000 lines to update.

This is on the roadmap! We also think that customers should have the ability to purge and reload their entire pricebook as needed without having to work with our team as it currently does. Once we have a release date est. for this, we will post here.

Second signature for Add On tasks - no more lost electronic signatures
Problems to resolve:
(1) Tech upsells and adds a task item to the invoice then the customer auth signature is erased (tech can & will fail at times to recapture a new signature)
(2) Theres no way to see what tasks were sold initially and what tasks were added later as upsells, etc. This would be helpful for possible BBB complaints & in SW21 Job Summary (ctl Z).
(3) This allows a more paperless use of Mobile Technician and being able to trust that all info needed is more consistently stored electronically with the SW21 invoice.What would be great… more

I’m going to have Greg reach out to you so we can fully flesh this out too. We’ve got some changes in development that will make moving around in MT much nicer for the tech, but we also need to understand and implement the right business rules for adding/editing invoices and when that would require a new sig.

the second line of the address would print on the ticket (for exapmle "apt B")
We have a number of apartments that we service and we have the "apt a, apt 2 ect in the second address line however this does not print at all on the invoice. that would be nice.

We are currently looking at this and other fields for including on screen and on print. We’ll make sure that Address 2 (etc.) gets in there.

The Job instructions would print along with the directions.
Some jobs have extensive instructions that would be a benefit to have in print to review during the call. Also, we enter additional cell or office phone numbers in the instructions that are to be used only on a particular call and would be nice to have in print without navigating through SWRemote.

A handful of other customers have asked to print other items as well, like parts used. Would it be of benefit to create a new screen for printing that allowed you to print these things whenever you wanted? For example, you might choose the “Print” menu and have “Work Approval” “Job Instructions” “Work Done” etc etc?

Our first step is to see what SW21 makes available to us. Unfortunately, just becuase it’s in SW21 doesn’t mean SWRemote can access it, but we’re happy to check. Could you give us a list of specific info you’d be looking for in addition to new vs. renewal and # of visits applied?

I could add photos to a job from within SWRemote
Now that SW21 can attach documents to jobs (if setup by the administrator), what about adding a way for the field technicion to add photos while filling out the work-done notes? Seeing as how the MC65 (your choosen device) has a camera already built in....
Current steps:
1. Field Tech takes picture with mobile phone
2. Field Tech attaches picture to message and sends to my email address.
3. I open the 'Job Storage' folder (for the specified job) from within SW21
4. I open the email

We agree – this would be a super addition. I just don’t know if the technology that SW21 makes available to us will allow us to do it – stay tuned!
